Members entering any quilt must be in good standing with KCQG.
Member entering quilt (or quilted item) must have sewn the top and/or quilted said quilt, or should show provenance of quilt.
Quilt may not have been in a previous KCQG show, with the exception of “Featured Quilter”.
All quilts are defined as having a running stitch that passes through the top, middle layer (as in batting) and backing.
All quilts must be in clean and excellent condition. Incomplete, torn or soiled quilts will not be accepted.
All quilts must have a label with name of person(s) who worked on the quilt and name of owner of the quilt, stitched to the lower back edge of quilt.
All quilts must have a sleeve of 4 inches sewn to the top back of the quilt. Pinned sleeves will not be accepted. Quilts in the miniature category do not need a sleeve.
When turning in your quilts, please have them folded with label facing out. When picking up your quilts, you must present the ticket you received when turning in your quilt.
Presale of Quilt Show tickets – These are for the members who are working the show and their guests.
In the event of not enough space, we may have to limit the number of quilts a person may enter. Therefore, on your entry form, please rank the quilts you want to show, with number 1 being your first choice to be exhibited, number 2 being your second choice, etc.
