Are you feeling overwhelmed with all the doings of our guild and don't know which person to ask what's this or that? Get active in a grapevine group and you'll meet and get to know other members in your area in a smaller setting!
The Grapevine Committee was started to help members get to know other members living near them. Our quilt guild has grown quite large, and it's getting harder to know who is a new member, and what their level of experience is.
The Topeka/Shawnee County area has already been divided into regions. Each guild member has been located on the map within one of these regions. If the region you're listed in is not holding meetings, please feel free to call another region and start attending theirs, or host a meeting of your own region and get them started.
The Grapevine Committee is trying to help you become acquainted with the others in your region: · To help you know which member you might be able to catch a ride to/from a meeting without inconveniencing them · To enable those members wanting to start smaller groups to sew with, or go to this or that quilt show, etc. · To get help or ideas from other members in our area on a project we are working on · To keep our quilt guild's friendly atmosphere
